The Underground city is set in the mining town of Aberfoyle. James Starr is asked by a friend to come to the mine. When he arrives he finds the mine overman and his family living deep inside the mine. Simon Ford has found a rich vein of coal but the men must deal with mysterious unexplainable events at the mine while mining the ore.
